The Auburn city council took action on several major items at Monday’s two-hour regular meeting, including declaring two properties as nuisances and approving two purchases recommended by the Public Works Department.
The council also voted 8-0 to approve Ordinance 1469-19, authorizing the city’s proposed $4.7 million water main replacement project.
After a brief discussion, the council approved 8-0 two motions declaring the properties at 106 West Jackson, owned by Reese Langheim, and at 521 West Jackson, owned by Kaylean Walden, to both be in violation of the city’s Nuisance and Offensive Conditions Ordinances.
