The Auburn School Board held its Truth in Taxation hearing Wednesday, November 18 and approved (6-0, Norris absent) the FY20 tax levy during its meeting held in-person at the high school gym and via Zoom. There were no changes to the levy since it was presented last month.

Kristi Corpin and Dan Wilkerson with the firm, Eck, Shafer and Punke presented the FY20 audit report and the district received a 3.9 score from a possible 4.0 and earned a “Recognition” designation which is the highest level possible. Last year, the district received a 3.8.

Corpin said the total revenues the district received for the year were $13,297,548 which is an increase of $625,000 from the previous year and expenditures were $12,165,908 which is a slight increase of $140,00 due to capital projects.
