D.J. Donaldson was the class Valedictorian and Jenna Cline and Katie Tanner were co-Salutatorians as graduation ceremonies for the Auburn High School Class of 2019 were held Friday at Sangamon Auditorium at UIS.
Donaldson will be attending St. Louis University next fall where he will major in Engineering. Cline will major in Nursing at the University of Missouri, and Tanner will major in Forensic Chemistry at Western Illinois University.
Donaldson, Cline and Tanner were part a group of eight seniors who graduated with perfect unweighted grade point averages of 4.0, earning straight A’s for all eight semesters of school. Also with 4.0 GPA’s were Connor Ellrich, McKenzi Domescik-Rink, Charity Wheeler, Austyn Lucas and Braydon Smith.
