The Auburn city council once again tabled taking any action on an ordinance amending the city’s liquor code at Monday’s brief 37 minute regular meeting.
A meeting had been held December 9 with local business owners of establishments that sell liquor to go over the proposed changes and get additional input on Ordinance 1507-21. From that meeting, city attorney Greg Moredock had implemented some of the recommendations into the present document, but the council had decided not to take action at its December 16 meeting. The delay was to allow the business owners more time for any additions or changes.
