At the most recent Chatham Village Board meeting held November 9, the board approved the hiring of Kayla Dierkes as the Village’s new Chief Fiscal Officer and Treasurer.

Dierkes has worked for the past three years under previous CFO and Treasurer Sherry Dierking, who has retired after working for 26 years for the village.

Dierkes has been training for this position since October 2018, Village President Dave Kimsey stated. Kimsey added that Dierking gave village officials a three-year notice of when she planned to retire, allowing for the hiring and training of Dierkes to succeed her.
