The Chatham Village Board completed its cycle of meetings for 2021 with a 15-minute affair December 28 at Municipal Hall. All trustees and Mayor Dave Kimsey were present, along with attorney Greg Moredock and clerk Dan Holden.

•The board approved the purchase of two more parcels of land in the 100 block of North Market Street, at the former WhyNot Pizza and Collectibles location at 105 N. Market and 201 W. Chestnut.

The purchase price will not exceed $230,000, and financing options will be sought from local banks. The Village now owns the entire block of Market that overlooks the west side of the Veterans Memorial Square.
