W. Frank Mazrim, 91, of Springfield, passed away Friday, May 28, 2021 at St. John’s Hospital. 

He was born November 29, 1929 in Springfield, the son of Jesse and Florence Pennock Mazrim. He married Betty J. (Bobbie) Murphy in 1951 and she preceded him in death. 

He was also preceded in death by a son, Timothy M. Mazrim. 

Frank served his country in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953. He was employed with the Operating Engineers Local 965. Frank was a member of Christ the King Parish, the Interveterans Burial Detail of Sangamon County and a life member of AMVETS Post 98. 

Survivors include his children, Terrence F. Mazrim and Gerianne (Rhonda) Mazrim, both of Loami; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and a sister. 

Services were held Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Boardman-Smith Funeral Home in Springfield with Rev. Joseph Ring officiating. Burial was in Camp Butler National Cemetery with military honors provided by the Department of Defense and the Interveterans Burial Detail of Sangamon County.
