It is with great sadness that the family of Thomas David Reilly announces his passing on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at the age of 61 years old in Kennewick, Wash.
Dave was born November 8, 1959 in Bay City, Texas to John “Jack” and Ardeth “Ardie” (Herron) Reilly.
His family moved to Illinois in December 1969. Dave graduated from Illiopolis High School with the class of 1978 and attended Richland Community College. He was a proud member of Local 137 Plumbers & Pipefitter’s Union, starting their Apprenticeship Program in September of 1980 and was an apprentice for three years. He then became a Journeyman and worked for several companies in Springfield.
In 1995 he and his wife, Lisa started their own business, Reilly Temperature Control Services, and ran that until his retirement in 2014.
Dave married Lisa (White) June 28, 1980 in Illiopolis. They had two children, Ashley and Dallas, and lived in Illiopolis for many years. Dave moved to Washington state in 2017 to be near his son and his family.
Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Ardie Reilly, grandparents, uncle David Duffy (his namesake), in-laws Carroll and Jannis White and his precious dog, Pepper.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa; his children Ashley (Erin) Staley of Springfield and Dallas (Jennifer) Reilly of Benton City, Wash. two grandsons; siblings John Reilly of Dawson, Pamela (Michael Alexander) Reilly of Yorktown, Va., Christy (Fred) Reilly Worrell of Illiopolis, and Patricia (Eric) Reilly Bramlet of Mt. Carmel; sisters-in-law Cathy Patient Reilly, Barbara White, Jo (Bruce, deceased) Wilson Tina Marshall; several special nieces and nephews; and many wonderful friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Illinois.
