I don't know about you, but it's good to get back to some sense of normalcy. The last two weeks have involved major alterations to how we do business and what days we are working, due to the holidays and non-negotiable schedules from our printers. And with all the other variables going on, you haven't had to read this space for two straight weeks. That's a celebration for some, and non-stop depression for others. I know; I get it. I'm coming out scalding hot in 2020, so buckle up...

•I'm still down on Illini basketball, because they have a long way to go to be worthy of a bid to the NCAA Tournament. And really, how about let's strive to be a consistent winning program again? It's not just about getting an 11 seed on Selection Sunday, right? Sunday's dominant win over Purdue was desperately needed, and with winnable games upcoming on the schedule, it's time to rack up a few victories in a row. Alan Griffin is now a viable addition to the rotation, and there are some parts of this team that are very impressive. But I must say to Giorgi B - stop firing up 3s, man! Get inside, pass the ball and do your thing...
