How many televisions (or computer screens or tablets or phones) can you watch at one time? The NFL is back in full swing, and the men's U.S. Open golf tournament will be held in New York this weekend. The regular season in MLB is winding down, and for those so inclined, I'm told the NHL and NBA playoffs are continuing. After months of starving for any live sports, we've sure got them right now...

•If you like to dabble in gambling, Fan Duel and Draft Kings were practically throwing money at you last weekend. Too bad I could only bet $1 on the Ravens to beat the Browns, but it netted me $100 in site credit. Fan Duel let you bet up to $50 on the Rams to beat the Cowboys, with the gimmick line rising to plus-39 at kickoff. That was a free $45.45, basically, in winnings. It's not much, but it's something. There are also other promotions going on which I can't keep up with...

And with Fan Duel and Draft Kings partnering with casinos in Illinois, we can now place bets on sports very easily from our phones. Yes, this is dangerous. I'm dipping a toe in, and I've placed a few bets on the U.S. Open. And yes, I've got a few bucks on Phil and some other long shots...
