If you call yourself a golf fan, or you appreciate the legends of the game, then you have to go to YouTube and look up Jack Nicklaus vs. Sam Snead at Pebble Beach in 1963 in a Shell's Wonderful World of Golf match. It's remastered in full color, and it's simply an historic meeting of Snead, in his early  50s at the end of his great run of wins as a professional, and Nicklaus in his early 20s just getting started on his legendary career. The production and scenes, for an event that long ago, is just terrific. I know this is random, but it was fascinating to me, at least...

•The Bears are 4-1, the quarterback drama has calmed down (at least for now) and the team now has a legitimate win over a good team (Tampa Bay) under its belt. It wasn't an offensive showcase, of course, but clutch field goals were made and the defense came to play. Whatever it takes, right?...

Mike Davis wasn't good enough for Matt Nagy's elite running game, apparently. And now the Bears will get an up close and personal look at Davis this Sunday in Charlotte...
