• Funny thing about last week’s Illinois-Mizery game: I admit I wanted the margin of victory to be a LOT bigger than it was. I think Cuonzo Martin is inching up into the territory of Bruce Pearl in terms of my dislike, though NO ONE will ever reach the depths that the conniving scumbag reached during the Deon Thomas saga and since. Mizery just is not very good this year, and it just pains me so much to see that LOL.

The Illini started out pretty well before a lull allowed the Tigers to claw back in before Trent Frazier did what Trent Frazier can do. The lead swelled in the second half, but I admit I wanted to see 100 points on the Illini side. Brad Underwood took the high road and called off the dogs, though.

I really think that the Illini should ALWAYS wear orange in the Braggin’ Rights game. Mizery wears black, gold or white, not red. It is not like their road uniforms would look like Wisky or Indiana.
