At the Riverton Village Board meeting Tuesday night, the board approved several sidewalk repairs, among other actions.

Trustee Landess said the Public Works Committee had met and recommended $19,300 out of MFT funds, and another $8,200 and $7,800 from the corporate budget line items, for concrete and labor work. When asked, this was not bid out, per Landess, as any amounts under $20,000 can be used from motor fuel tax funds without a bidding process.
