The Riverton School Board continued to hear concerns about students’ academic performance, while also approving next year’s school calendar, as two of the numerous topics discussed at Monday’s regular meeting.

Mrs. Doerfler noted there are 92 students “at risk.” Middle school staff are “chipping away at that number.” Students cycle through intensive intervention. An Amazon grant was awarded and the middle school will receive three years of STEM curriculum. Mrs. Hartlaub inquired about MAP data and when scores would be available. Doerfler responded, in a typical year, those would go out with report cards. Testing finished last week so those grades have not yet been uploaded to Skyward.
