Rochester won four of five matches to take third place in the 16-team Riverton Fall Classic held Friday and Saturday.

Rochester won its pool at Riverton without losing a set, defeating Altamont (25-18, 25-12), West Central (25-19, 25-10) and Auburn (25-13, 25-14). The Rockets lost in the semifinals to eventual champ Lewistown in three, but came back to knock off Mahomet-Seymour for third place, 25-23, 25-14.

Tatum Outlaw had nine kills and Emma Jiroutek landed eight in the loss to Lewistown. Sophia Huerta and Lauren Bloom came up with 14 digs apiece and Grace Petty had 10. Mary Gegen led with nine kills against Mahomet-Seymour with Petty getting six kills and nine digs.
