Heeding the wishes of the community, Williamsville board trustees will vote on an ordinance next month to opt out of marijuana sales for recreational use. 

Trustees said their decision was based partly on the public hearing, at which most speakers spoke against the practice. Speakers cited small town, wholesome values as their reason. 

In opting out, the village joins other communities.
