Williamsville Superintendent Tip Reedy is as anxious as anyone else to know what school will look like next month, but with all the fluid, and sometimes contradictory, guidance out there, he is urging a bit more patience, he said at the school board meeting Monday night.
The CDC released new K-12 guidance last week, though using the word “should” instead of “shall” has led to some confusion; Reedy is hoping for some sort of clarification sometime this week.
“There is a lot of room for interpretation” with the new guidance, he said. “It is in our best interest” to wait for more data before a final decision is made.
