The host Williamsville High School varsity football team finished the regular season Friday with a 51-15 thrashing of visiting Petersburg PORTA.

The win clinched the Sangamo Conference title outright at 9-0, one game ahead of Maroa-Forsyth.

The Bullets led 21-0 after one period and 51-0 at the half.

Conor McCormick hit Stephen Gleason with a 15-yard TD pass 2:34 in, then Grant Ripperda scampered 13 yards for a score with 7:47 remaining.

McCormick connected with Ripperda on a 22-yard score with 2:52 left in the first.
